Makeover 

This interior renovation was driven by the client’s desire for improved function within the footprint of their single-story home. The existing layout no longer supported their lifestyle, and key living spaces felt cramped and outdated. With a focus on creating a more intuitive layout for ranch-style living, we reimagined multiple rooms to better serve their daily routines. 

The kitchen was relocated to the former family room, opening up the space and making room for a more functional layout. The two-panel sliding glass door was replaced with a three-panel slider to provide a better view of the backyard and allow more natural light into the space. The new kitchen features a large island and a peninsula with stool seating designed for both everyday convenience and entertaining. The client opted for a neutral color palette with quartz countertops, a custom back splash and wood detail on the custom range hood.  

A portion of the original kitchen, along with the adjacent powder room, was used to create a full bathroom featuring a walk-in shower and single-sink vanity. Accessibility was also thoughtfully integrated by including a wide doorway and grab bars in the shower. 

We worked closely with the client to bring their vision to life, ensuring that the newly designed spaces remained consistent with the character of the home. Careful attention was paid to materials and finishes throughout the interior. The result is a cohesive, contemporary living space tailored to the homeowners lifestyle.
