Bathroom Retreat

Our client’s vision was to remodel the outdated bathroom, eliminating a built-in Jacuzzi tub, to provide space for a larger walk-in shower with multiple shower heads. We modified the layout of the room to better suit our client’s needs. We redesigned the vanity, expanded the shower, and relocated the toilet for better privacy. We added luxury features, such as a bidet toilet seat, multiple shower heads, a combination exhaust fan/heater and an electrical outlet inside the vanity.

Blue-stained poplar cabinetry serves as the foundation of the new design aesthetic. Blue picket accent tile in the shower expands on this theme, while providing balance and visual interest. These blue elements pop nicely against light-colored wall finishes, shower tile and counter tops. The porcelain floor tile complements the entire room with its streaks of blue, gray and white.

The vanity mirror and shelving over the toilet were custom-built and stained to match the vanity cabinets. An extra-wide wall niche and two corner benches complement the large walk-in shower.
