Detached garages are a common feature among Lakewood homes, and many homeowners are opting to replace the original structure with a new 2-story structure that provides ample space for a bonus room. That was the case with this project, which features a 2-1/2 car garage and storage room on the first floor plus an upstairs bonus room. Our scope of work involved building a new concrete foundation and floor pad, framing, roofing, siding, windows and doors, electrical, insulation and drywall.

The new garage was carefully designed to coordinate with the existing home. Key features such as the brick veneer, shingle siding, windows and doors, roof overhangs and corbels all coordinate with the home. Our client now enjoys a large garage with a workshop area and an second floor entertainment space that friends and family will enjoy for years to come.
