The Best in Cleveland Home Improvement Honored with CotY Awards
Cleveland, OH, March 16, 2017 – The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) Greater Cleveland Chapter recognized the ‘best of the best’ in the remodeling industry at their annual Evening of Excellence dinner and awards banquet Friday, March 10, 2017 at the Music Box Supper Club in Cleveland. NARI members and other home improvement professionals were in attendance to pay homage to the recipients of the 2017 CotY Awards (“Contractor of the Year”) for demonstrating excellence in their craft. Advance Design and Remodel won 1st place in the category “Residential Bath $45,000 -$60,000”.
Ed “Flash” Ferenc was Master of Ceremonies for the event sponsored by Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery. Additional sponsors were the Cleveland I-X Center; 1-888-OHIOComp and MinuteMen Human Resources; Great Lakes Publishing; Pella; and Wolff Bros. Supply. Entertainment was provided by the Jersey Beat Band and keynote speaker was National NARI President H. Dale Content, MCR, CRPM, UDCP.
Each year NARI members in good standing may submit recently remodeled projects to be considered to receive a CotY Award. Entries are judged on functionality of space, problem solving, how well the client’s needs and budget restraints were met, contractor’s innovation and craftsmanship, degree of difficulty of the project, and overall impression. These anonymous entries are judged by an impartial panel of professionals in the remodeling industry from other NARI chapters including NARI of Central Ohio, and NARI of Madison, Wisconsin.
